LAME AT UPDATING!

I'm SO bad at updating...but then i have been SUPER busy recently!
School takes up my whole day and then I'm giving extra classes in the evening until 9.30...so in fact I don't lead a very exciting life! I'd like to take this moment to thank you girls for teaching the baby classes at E.S...you really have provided me with some great ideas for classes-especially on the song front! The clean version of A for apple aa a a a goes down a treat and the Days of the Week song is a WINNER!! THEY LOVE IT! So muxas gracias!
The kids are cute but they drive me mad especially when they decided to wet themselves or vomit in my class...never good! I also have to do lunch duty which is RANK as well! This involves making sure the kids eat all of their food and we have to force feed if necessary..so again lots of vomit. nice.
I have a stalker at school in the shape of an old, ginger music teacher. Why!????? why do i always get the weird ones! The even worse thing is that app. all the other teachers are in on the whole setting us up thing...so i am not very amused! My exciting story from yesterday involves a PUMPKIN! My boss bought some things for us to use in classes about Halloween...so in the middle of one of my classes the music teacher rocks up with a plastic pumpkin in his hands. So i'm like "ahh ok that must be from my boss, thanks" I threw it in my cupboard and didn't think anything else about it apart from HOW THE HELL AM I GOING TO INCORPORATE THIS INTO A LESSON! The next day one of the English teachers comes up to me and excitedly asks if i got the note! umm what note? the note in the pumpkin of course Nicola! ohhhh duhh silly me so i was meant to look in a plastic pumpkin, how obvious NOT!! She carried on by saying how much the Music teacher likes me and then muttered something about the youth of today not looking inside plastic pumpkins for love notes..blah..blah..blah..
This makes things slightly awkward now.
Last weekend I saw Laura from 3p and 4p this year was really good to see her, even outside of the bubble!! We went out, danced the night away and had a lot of fun. I also went on a day trip to Segovia (with some work collegues) which is a beautiful old town outside of Madrid. It's famous for its COCHINILLO which is suckling pig...it's a local delicacy apparently...although i didnt think that when a whole piece of pig complete with skin, tail and trotter rocked up on my plate! My friend fared much worse as she got the head, brain and ear which still had the plastic tag through it! YUK IT WAS ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING!!
Am off to explore my barrio now so will no doubt have some exciting ghetto adventures to report on my next update!
LOTS OF LOVE XXXX
